Sound Rivers is a vital environmental organization that monitors and protects the health and beauty of our waterways.
Using nature as the classroom, Clay Barber, Environmental Projects Coordinator, combines real-world scenarios and hands-on activism within the local environment. Working with media, government officials, teachers and other nonprofit organizations, Sound Rivers help to educate the next generation of conservationists.
There’s nothing like experiencing nature to help kids get the basics of water ecosystems and issues. This video is a great opportunity to see the unique tools Sound Rivers offers our educators to help them raise student awareness. This presentation also helps us to understand the benefits of wastewater management, and how we can, as individuals, improve rainwater runoff at our homes.
